Our prices, delivery charges and the availability of stock are published on lumie.com. Prices (value and currency) are dependent on the shipping destination you choose. Prices are subject to change at any time. We will inform you if our actual prices and charges are different from those stated on your order form.
The price of a product includes VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable in the country you are shipping to.
It is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products on our site may be incorrectly priced. If we discover an error in the price of the products, we will inform you of this error and we will give you the option of continuing to purchase the product at the correct price or cancelling your order. Please note that if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mispricing, we do not have to provide the products to you at the incorrect price.
If you live in the UK and have a disability or illness, you do not have to pay VAT on certain products that are of practical help and are for personal or domestic use. SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) is an example of a condition that qualifies for VAT relief.
To claim the relief and purchase certain products VAT-free, you must complete the short VAT Relief Declaration by selecting the VAT-free option on the product page, or alternatively at checkout.
When you complete this form, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and that you are claiming relief from Value Added Tax under Group 12 of Schedule 8 to the Value Added Tax Act of 1994.
If you are in any doubt as to whether you are eligible to receive goods zero-rated for VAT please drop us a line at info@lumie.com. Please note there are penalties for making false declarations. You can claim VAT relief in the same way if you are buying a product on behalf of someone else who meets the criteria above, but it is only valid on products shipping to the UK.
We offer various ways for you to pay for your order: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. We also offer an option to pay in installments in partnership with Klarna on orders over £75 (excl. shipping). To read more about 'Pay in 3 with Klarna', click here.
